Week of April 12th Menu Changes

We’ve been mentioning for a few weeks that in order to continue providing service during COVID-19 we’d need to make several menu changes to simplify and streamline our supply chain. You’ll see a few of these changes roll out this week.

1. Many meals have fewer ingredients. This allows us to space employees further apart in our assembly lines.

2. New products from partners that may have these ingredients that Methodology doesn’t normally use but that we realize many of your families do eat in moderation: wheat, gluten, dairy, cane sugar. Any menu items with these ingredients will not be auto-assigned to you and will also be flagged with a warning in red for you when you browse the menu, the same way we flag your Foods to Avoid. This week’s new addition includes whole pies from Three Babes Bakeshop, based in the Bay Area. These partnership items arrive in our facility fully cooked and packaged by our partners so we don’t expect cross-contamination of ingredients in our kitchen.

3. Brand new household and pantry products that might be particularly helpful right now, made by small businesses we’d like to support:

  • Matcha from Paru Tea, a female-founded business in San Diego that hand makes tea. One of the best ways to get more antioxidants in your diet.

  • Shea butter lotion from Hanahana, a female-founded business that supports women in Ghana. Great for keeping those hands moist from all that hand washing.

  • Jam from Sqirl, a female-founded restaurant in Los Angeles. Goes great on our new keto vegan bread loaf which is also available in our grocery section.

Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience with the changes we’re making in order to not only continue providing service but hopefully increase the convenience and value you get from Methodology.

If you have any questions about any of this please contact help@gomethodology.com and one of our wellness coaches will get back to you right away, though you should expect delayed response times on Sunday through Tuesday, our busiest days.
